There are Resident Members and Associate Members. Please be proactive and join our association now to address problems facing our lake in order to protect and control our pond.

Types of Membership

  • RESIDENT MEMBERSHIP is open to all households residing within and/or owning property within the following boundaries:
    1 The southerly side of Highland Road, from the corner of Route 18, proceeding west along Highland Road to Route 140 south.
  • 2 The easterly side of Route 140 to County Road, the easterly side of County Road, proceeding south along County Road crossing the Freetown line, to Mason Road.
  • 3 The northerly side of Mason Road, proceeding east to Route 18. The westerly side of Route 18, proceeding north to Bedford Street.4 The southerly side of Bedford Street, proceeding northwest to Highland Road.


Resident Membership is per person and open to all household members. Each resident member shall have one vote in association elections at the annual meeting and on other matters submitted to a vote of the members. Absentee voting will be allowed. 


  • ASSOCIATED MEMBERSHIP is open to anyone who wants to be involved and support the efforts of the Long Pond Association yet is not a resident. This membership can make suggestions, yet does not have any voting rights.

We can't give you bonus points on your credit card, but we can share the collective knowledge on what's going on with preserving our pond. As we migrate more from our old web site to the new, we will continue to add more information, news, announcements and meeting notes.
